Animals In Zoos

I think that it is cruel to have animals in Zoos. After I tell you my reasons you will definitely agree with me.
My first reason is that they are always locked up in cages. When animals are locked up in cages they fell in prison and have no freedom at all. The have nothing to do they just pace up and down up and down. It Probably makes them feel worse seeing all the people staring at them when they are locked up and can do nothing about it.
My second reason is that they don’t get fed when they want. The animals don’t get food when they want and if they were free they would be able to hunt their own food whenever they like. At zoos they don’t get to hunt down their own food I don’t think that is fair because killing their food is probably the best part for them.

My third reason is that they are taken away for their natural habitat. In the Hamilton zoo there are giraffes they are animals that come from Savannah. In Savannah it is warm but here in NZ it is very cold so when a baby giraffe is born in NZ it will never know what its natural habitat was like because it was born in a zoo.
I hope now that I have told you my reasons why animals shouldn't be kept in zoos you will agree with me. Remember they are locked up, they don’t get fed when they want food and they are taken away from their natural habitat
